La Crosse Symphony Orchestra Collabs with River City Gallery on First Friday Art Walk

The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra is collaborating with the River City Gallery for this summer’s First Friday Art Walk in Downtown La Crosse! Performing from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday, July 3, is recently appointed substitute and local violinist, Kate Elliott. Daughter of past-Assistant Concertmaster and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Music Professor, Michelle Lee Elliott, Kate is the 2026 winner of the La Crosse Area Youth Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. She won the title of Concertmaster during their 2025-26 season as a sophomore at Luther High School and currently takes lessons from Busya Lugovier.

It is FREE to attend a First Friday Art Walk and free to listen to Kate perform at the River City Gallery!
