Let’s go back to the 70’s movies brought to you with music from the symphony!  Remember 2001:  Space Odyssey which highlighted music by Richard Strauss and later operatic works by Richard Wagner heard in Apocolypse Now?  Who can forget the haunting music of The Godfather written by Nino Rota?  Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue was the spark that led to Woody Allen’s Manhattan.  We’ll also hear music of that master of the cinema, John Williams of Star Wars fame.  The Gershwin will be performed by the amazing American pianist Andrew Russo who is soloist in yet another LSO debut this season.

Single tickets can be purchased after July 31, 2017
